What Soccer Equipment Do You Need?
For Training:
- A Ball. Each team kit has a limited number of balls. It is preferable that every team’s players have their own soccer balls clearly marked with their name.
- Shin pads (appropriate size for the age of the player)
- Appropriate training gear (not club uniform)
- A water bottle, replace fluids before, during and after training
- Soccer Boots (training in joggers can be dangerous after wet weather)
ALL JEWELLERY IS TO BE REMOVED AT TRAINING AND AT GAMES. TAPING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE OR PERMITTED.
For Games:
- Boots
- Shin pads (you cannot play without them)
- White shorts
- Red Hawk Socks
- A bottle of water, replace fluids before, during and after game
- Referee’s fees (senior teams only)
- Your Coach or Manager will issue you with your soccer shirt prior to kick off which you must return after the game. A change of clothes after the game is advisable. Please arrive at your game at least half an hour earlier or as advised by your Coach.
